Sale

This section will configure all payment and financial-related settings.

1. Payment method

Set up the payment methods used by the salon, along with specific configurations for each method.

Currently, the POS system supports the following payment methods: Cash, Credit, Giftcard, and Other.

Cash

Cash Payment Configuration

  • Discount for Cash: When the salon encourages customers to pay with cash, it can activate a “Discount for Cash” campaign. The salon must configure the discount percentage so the system can apply it automatically.

  • Deduct Discount for Cash: If the salon wants to share the discount amount with the technician and deduct it from their salary, this setting must be enabled. The salon needs to input the percentage split between On Technician and On Salon.

Credit

Credit Payment Configuration For this payment method, the salon must configure a Merchant ID to receive funds from the customer's payment account.

Giftcard

In addition to Cash and Credit, customers can also pay using Giftcards issued by the salon. The value of $1 on the giftcard is equivalent to $1 in actual payment.

Other

In certain special cases where payment is not recorded via Cash, Credit, or Giftcard, the salon will process the booking using the Other payment method.

2. Tip

When processing a booking payment, at the Tip entry step, the POS allows the salon owner to configure tip-related settings. Details are as follows:

Split tip default

Configure the default tip distribution method. The salon can still modify the distribution method at the time of booking payment.

Tip type default

The salon selects a default tip type: either Percentage or Money. This setting can still be adjusted during the booking payment process.

Value tip suggest

Configure default tip values for quick selection during payment. However, these values can still be modified during the actual payment process.
